Returns & Right of Withdrawal

Under Hungarian Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.), consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date the product is received.

⚠️ Important: Custom-made products

Under § 29(1)(c) of Decree 45/2014, the right of withdrawal does not apply to non-prefabricated goods produced according to the consumer's specifications, or clearly personalised for the consumer.

Since most Shinster shin guards are made specifically based on the image uploaded by the Customer, the right of withdrawal does not apply to custom-designed items. Statutory warranty and guarantee rights remain unaffected in case of defective performance.

1. Exercising the right of withdrawal (non-custom items)

For in-stock, non-custom items, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. To do so, send a clear statement by one of the following methods:

• By post: to the Provider's registered address (below)

2. Sample withdrawal statement

"I, the undersigned …………………………… hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract of sale of the following goods: …………………………… . Ordered on / received on: ………………… . Name and address of consumer: ………………… . Date: ……………………………"

3. Return process

1. Send the withdrawal statement by email.
2. Return the product undamaged, in its original condition and preferably in its original packaging, to the Provider's registered address within 14 days of sending the statement.
3. The direct cost of return is borne by the Customer.
4. The Provider will refund the purchase price within 14 days of receiving the returned product, using the same payment method as the original transaction.

4. Defective products, warranty

For defective or damaged products, whether custom or not, the Customer is entitled to statutory warranty rights: repair, replacement, price reduction or withdrawal. Guarantee applies in accordance with the Hungarian Civil Code and Government Decree 151/2003 (IX. 22.).

Please send complaints to info@shinster.com, ideally with photos. We investigate and respond within 30 days.
